Pseudo-Hijab

Here is my own take on the Spanish-hijab (aka tie-hijab with no neck coverage) style.

The steps are basically as follows.

1. Place an oblong shayla scarf basically centered on your head.

2. Tie at the back in a single knot.

3. Take one of the sides and cross it back over your head.

4. Tie that end to the other longer one that is at your opposite shoulder.

For this style it is all tied and not pinned anywhere. I wore it downtown for a couple hours and it did get loose after awhile so I had to untie the second knot and tighten the first. You could probably avoid that by using a pin to secure the first knot.

I love this style of wearing a scarf... from a close up of the picture it looks like it is a gorgeous texture and am loving the little tassels - this scarf is becoming all the vogue in the uk.. happily for me.

I call it kaz-chic....

ps - fabulous ear-rings.... :0D

Mashallah the earrings really add to the whole effect. You look so pretty sweetie and the different colors are nice.

Ahavah: Kaz-chic, I love that. The scarf has a lot of texture and sticks to your hair, plus it goes with almost everything. There is another pic of me on this blog with one that is more orangeish.

I love either colorful or black scarves. I really can't wear cream or white, they make me look washed out.
